SMARTY JONES away well, pressed the leader under kind handling in first turn, put a head in front in the far turn, cleared at will from off the inside late in the second turn, kept to task through the lane. BORREGO allowed to settle, second flight turning for home, roused right handed when straightened for home, slowly getting to the winner late outside that one. PRO PRADO off the pace, saved ground with a golden trip along the inside, proved best of the others while not at threat to the winner. HARVARD AVENUE moved closer five wide turning for home, lacked the needed late kick. PURGE narrowly set the pace, gave up the lead to the winner in the far turn, staged a steady retreat. MAMBO TRAIN within striking distance, raced in some traffic turning for home, backed up. SHADOWLAND within striking distance, in good position in the second flight on the outside into the far turn, empty. EVERY ADVANTAGE made little impact. MR. JESTER remained back throughout in a dull effort. TRICKY TABOO last away, never close. HASSLEFREE -steadied past the wire the first time, gave way after a half, far back.
