JACKPOT rated off the pace, moved into
contention three wide on the far turn, then rallied to catch THE LADY'S GROOM
at the sixteenth pole and edged away. NEWFOUNDLAND taken in hand to stalk the
pace, responded to pressure in the drive and wore down THE LADY'S GROOM for
the place while being outfinished by the winner. THE LADY'S GROOM moved up
soon after the start gain the lead, set the pace along the inside to the
sixteenth pole and weakened. THE JUDGE SEZ WHO unhurried while saving ground,
swung out for the stretch run and failed to threaten. INDY DANCER was never a
factor. SEATTLE FITZ (ARG) stalked the pace along the inside into the far
turn and faltered. |
