Footnotes |

|
FIRE SLAM stalked TWO DOWN AUTOMATIC
around the first turn, collared that one midway down the backstretch, dueled
for the lead around the second turn, surged clear in upper stretch and proved
best while kept to the task. SHADOWLAND reserved off the rail while out
sprinted, moved up around the second turn, loomed a threat and while no match
for the winner was game for second. TWO DOWN AUTOMATIC
broke alertly, sprinted clear to the rail around the first turn, was collared
by FIRE SLAM midway down the backstretch, dueled with that one around the
second turn, was headed before mid stretch and faded. BOGANGLES devoid speed, raced off the rail down the backstretch,
moved up nearing the drive then lacked the needed rally. POLISH RIFLE between
foes early, was restrained down the backstretch, had no response when asked. |
