Footnotes |
|
|
SMARTY JONES away in good order,
prompted the leader outside that one left shoulder, challenged and took over
turning for home, roused with a left handed stick upper stretch, kicked
strongly clear. PURGE took command soon after the start, set a moderate pace
along the inside, no match for the winner, remained well clear of the others.
PRO PRADO evenly pace throughout off the inside, finished best of the rest.
CRYPTOGRAPH settled off the pace, set down for the drive, managed little left
late gain. PROPER PRADO far back, advanced while closest to the rail turning
for home, too much to do. MR. JESTER within striking distance inside, came up
empty for the drive. GRAN PROSPECT last away, raced well back, not a factor
when four wide and brushed into the stretch, no rally. MAISIE'S SON moved a
bit closer in hand backstretch, lacked a further response for the drive.
ARCHIE B settled off the pace, gave way after a half. |
