Footnotes |
|
|
SMARTY JONES reluctant to load, away in
good order, chased off the inside comfortably in hand, engaged the leader
from the outside in the second turn, roused with a right-handed stick soon
after gaining the advantage exiting that bend, fully extended to hold the
next two safe late. TWO DOWN AUTOMATIC allowed to settle off the pace and the
inside, asked for some run midway on the second turn, finished willingly
between foes while not good enough. PRO PRADO settled off the pace, remained
under patient handling until the second turn, angled out, late close
midtrack. ARCHIE B lacked speed, saved ground into the far turn, angled out
turning for home, evenly late. NUMBER JUAN raced off the pace, no late
response. PROPER PRADO last away, trailed early, middle move on the outside,
hung the final quarter. WILDCAT SHOES broke sharp, clear, gave way when
headed by the winner into the far turn. PYRAMID PERFORMER gave way after a
half. GOT THE GOODS raced back, backed up after six furlongs. |
