Tension is in the air...

excitement to be at the best race of the year.
The odds are displayed 1 minute until race time. Too bad I didn't notice Closing
Argument at 71-1. the crowd eagerly waits in anticipation...
and they're off! The powerful beasts
stride
by the finish line for the 1st time.
On the backstretch, Spanish Chestnut still controls the pace.
The crowd gasps with shock, wondering if the unofficial results could actually
be true.... after an eternity, we find out, they are!

Thursday Morning, before the Derby
Sis City gets a little bath done. I hope the water was warm because it was cold
out there.
Nick Zito tells it like it is to a crowd of "VIP"s which included us somehow.
Meanwhile, his son Alex attended to the actual work at hand.

Mike Battaglia talked things over.
We talked to Paul Rogers (the voice of Churchill) for a while, but nobody would
recognize him because he's seldom on TV. Real nice guy tho.
